Agriturismo Tirtha Verona Pescantina

Tirtha is the place where crossing the River

The Agriturismo Tirtha is surrounded by greenery, inside a natural park on the banks of the river Adige. From the farm it is possible to reach the river crossing an ancient door that by direct access to nature trail named Alzaia by foot, by mountain bike or on horseback, which runs along the left bank.

The structure is designed to accommodate and make you feel comfortable the visitor, since the interventions of green architecture and the choice of materials, to the comfort of the spacious interiors and spacious and bright, furnished simply but with sophistication, with light colours on the walls and a wooden floor whitened and heated that invites you to walk barefoot.

An impressive gallery opens above the entrance to the facility where you can sit and read a book in total relax. At our farm are available rooms designed for workgroups and seminar with a conference hall that opens onto the Park, ideal for recreational activities such as birthdays or graduations.

The farm offers accommodation with breakfast and lunches, dinners or vegetarian/vegan snacks made with organic products, partly grown from our own farm. Our facility is fully usable by people with disabilities. The Agriturismo Tirtha is pet-friendly and your animals are welcome.

Tirtha means “place where wading a river” and by extension the place or the means by which it is possible to cross from this dimension to another. It’s a door, physics in our case, because getting to the Tirtha means ”out of the ordinary” and enter intoa different dimension, in contact with the environment and the agents of nature that surround you with wellbeing. The surrounding countryside, with the extensive gardens and access to the river, makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a good night’s rest.

Tirtha is a new concept that combines the relaxation in natural surroundings, the interest in promoting the organic philosophy and the environment, with personal development paths and psychophysical development of the individual activity that conveys through its activities and its available space: a large events room, two rooms suitable for meetings and sweet gymnastics, a massage parlour.

The Agriturismo Tirtha is certified ICEA (Institute for ethical and environmental certification) and is member of Slow Tourism.

Our farm is located in the Park of the Adige near the river and is a restored and organized according to the criteria of ecological design and energy saving, fully accessible by disabled guests. Here is the chance to spend a charitable, in a comfortable environment even in its details, from the choice of materials, the study of space, but also because of the atmosphere that has been created following the right choices here adopted.

As regards the spaces, there are 2 rooms of about 50 square meters. Bright and overlooking the green countryside. One with the floating and heated wooden floor suitable for physical work, where you can work barefoot, and a the second one suitable for teaching, lectures or conferences. Then we have a large living room of 130 square meters, always with wooden floor, suitable for both activities at conferences, which overlooks the park.

We can also provide carpets, back jacks, tables, chairs, blackboard, stereo system, mixer, and a video projector.

With its spaces for meetings and seminars Tirtha is designed to host events and groups of residential work. Logistically strategic and easily accessible from the motorway and the airport, the farm Tirtha is located at the foothills of Valpolicella, a few kilometers from Verona and Lake Garda.

The external environment dialogues with the building and with the elements of nature, the park is plotted as a Yantra quadrangular base, with a central circular tiling (where you can light a fire) and also the pergola follows the same geometry energy yantra. The river can be reach at the end where we made a beautiful glade in which to relax benefiting from the prana energy and water, perfect place to practice yoga, meditation or other relaxation activities. Passing through a small door that leads to the river, you can indulge in a pleasant and beneficial promenade.

Agriturismo Tirtha is located along the Adige river, between the towns of Settimo and of Pescantina. You can reach Tirtha easily from the highway (approx. 7 km.) or from Verona (about 10 km.). Our location is logistic and strategical for both business or sightseeing activities, being close to many reality of  Verona. Our farm is placed in the quiet at the foot of the hills of Valpolicella, 20 minutes from the exhibition center “ Fiera Verona” (east) and Lake of Garda (west).

Higway A4 or A22 exit Verona Nord

At the exit form the motorway, you must continue straight on along the ring road until the exit named as Pescantina. Take the roundabout and continue straight passing in front of the town hall, at this point you keep left and continue straight through the town along Via Are. At the junction, at the ice cream ‘California’, you must turn right to Settimo di Pescantina, after 100 meters the first right is Via Tremolè, about 1 km ahead you’l arrive at the Agriturismo Tirtha.

From the SS12 Verona-Trento

Coming from Verona city from the district of Borgo Trento, you reach the town of Parona and a few kilometers further on, turn left for Settimo di Pescantina. After one kilometer at the roundabout turn right for Pescantina and passing the sports facilities (on the right) turn left into Via Tremolè, about 1 km ahead you’l arrive at the Agriturismo Tirtha.
